Welcome to Stirlingvale Station

Discover the rugged beauty and tranquillity of Stirlingvale Station, a 10,000-acre sheep and cattle farm just 10km from Broken Hill on the Barrier Highway (Adelaide Road). Experience bush camping like never before, with self-contained caravan and camper sites available on our homestead side.

Stirlingvale Station has been our home since 2017. Over the years, we've renovated the small homestead to create a comfortable residence for ourselves. The property is divided by the barrier highway, with 2,000 acres dedicated to our homestead side. We run sheep and a few cattle on this active farm. After hosting a family wedding and many friends who have all enjoyed the vast open spaces camping by the side of creek, we decided it was time to open up this magical space to enable it to be enjoyed by others. We have cleared a few tracks and laid some creak sand to minimise the prickles, creating camping spots suitable for self contained visitors.

Our Story

Stirlingvale Station is spread over 10,000 acres on the outskirts of Broken Hill. Its a little bit of the outback on the edge of town. As a working station we have Marino sheep running on the larger block of land one side of the road. On the House side we have a few Dorper sheep and few cattle all safely in their own paddock. We also still currently have some of our neighbours sheep that come to visit so you may wake up with a few friends to say hello too. Our native wildlife is active with plenty of Kangaroos and Emus to keep you entertained. Sit Back and relax listening to the out back song or head for a walk down one of our tracks and see what outback Australia has to offer.
